Position:Home>Performing Arts> A beginners violin brand?

Question:I'm not sure what would be a good brand to get a beginner violinist. I know next to nothing about stringed instruments, but I am familiar with brass and woodwinds. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Go to stringworks.com, they instruments are really good, and the beginner instruments are affordable. The cool thing about them is that if you want to up′grade your instrument to another of a better quality, you can do it! You can return it and get a better one, just pay the difference. They have a toll free number, they will help you out for what you need. By the way, I don't work there, hahaha, but I have 2 instruments from there and I know 3 friends that own one, and all of them are of really good quality and excellent price. I hope you find this helpful.

i am sorry but i personally have no idea. if you are in school, maybe you could ask a orchestra directer, and if you are not, than visit a high school and ask the orchestra directer. i know i am pretty much usless to you but still, i hope i did somehow help you.

Howard Core, a distributor in Alabama, has a line of very good student instruments. See:

Wenger or Yamaha

any chinese instrument is good
something worth around 200-300$ it wont be fantastic but for a beginer its good especially if your not sure if youll want to stick w/ it.. if you really like it and you get pretty good on it, then get a better one for up to a thousand$
