jordan is a sick song and another song that a killswitch is used is Bulls On Parade by Rage Against The Machine (solo). to use a kill switch you need the following:

1. a dual humbucker guitar
2. a volume know for each pickup

what you do is set the volume on one of your pickups to 10 and the other one to 0. then by using the analog pickup setector, you can switch the sound of your guitar on and off really fast. you can sorta make like a tap tremolo effect. it can also be used as an alternative to picking.
