Beauty and the Beast?!?

Question:Hi! I just got cast as Mrs.Potts (Hooray!) in our school's musical Beauty and the Beast. Do you have any ideas for what I can do to enhance this part and do well in the preformance? This includes acting/singing advice, costume ideas (VERY welcome), and tips for memorizing lines. Please help me and thank you in advance!!

Focus more on expressing the words in the songs rather than checking if you can sing the song like celine dion... oh and be really motherly cuz she's like that with belle and chip
