I think you're smart , Epiphone make good guitars and just cause you bout a low end model doesn't mean crap

Learn the instrument and practice alot then one day you ca be like me

Having your wife yelling at you for spending so much money on those GD guitars

LOL

Good luck and happy Playing

i think thats a good idea to see if you like it and if you have potential. dont waste money.

its a good starter guitar and is nice looking so good choice

Unless your a pro, a guitar is a guitar, as long as it works.

I did the same thing and it was a good decision... guitar is trickey at first so I almost quit but kept on with it, but If i had spent $5000 on a guitar that would have been a waste if I woulda quit.

i think that that is an awsome idea. you can learn the guitar, and see if you like it. if you dont like it than the guitar was cheap so thats okay. my sister got a guitar a while ago and she really likes it, so i really think that hat s a awsome idea.

Good Luck, and keep practicing!!!!!

It is a decent beginner's guitar. Better to get a $150 guitar than a $150 You-got-all-you-need-to-gig-starter-pack... guitar + amp combo. When you're playing on it don't think about how your guitar is holding you back. Until you start to get good it doesn't really matter. Good luck and happy shredding \m/.

"Limited time only, 3 watt amp now included, triple the wattage!"

lol, those $150 guitar + amp packs + dvd + picks + gig bag + string packs...
