Position:Home>Performing Arts> How can you learn to imitate someone else's voice?

Question:Say you had heard a person's voice, and deeply wanted to be able to make it your own... There might be a way to, right?
And by this I mean speaking voice, not singing.
There must be some sort of vocal exorcise that could correctly help you to mold your voice to sound like another persons. I have plently of voice samples of them saying things in all different ranges of tones, and have actually recorded myself trying to imitate them and have suceeded in making it very similar a few times. But I still wish to make my voice able to sound like that any time, and without multiple failed recordings and mess-ups.
Any help or ideas?

Well, it's entirely possible that your vocal chords are simply not possible of making those notes except under a lot of stress which over long periods of time could damage them. But if it's close to your natural voice, try a lot of practice and a vocal coach if you can afford it.
