My Acting career question?Help?

Question:I am 16 and I am going to take Acting classes probably next year.I am going to acting camp this summer and Im doing alot of reading on Acting.While I dont go to Acting school how can i further my career?I want to build up a resume, want to get experience now too and not waste time.What sould I audition for?Im homeschooled.So I cant Audition for plays in School. I want to gain more experence...Where should I go?What is My next step?Please help out!I live In southern IL.Thank you.

Most areas have community theaters which have auditions open to the public. Do a web search for your area - you may have to drive a bit, but if it something you realyl want to do, it may be worth it.

Also, sometimes churches do theatrical productions - keep your eye out for those as well. Any experience you can get will be valuable.
