Position:Home>Performing Arts> I Need Help Finding A Song For My GCSE's (:?

Question:Heyaah, I am finding it very hard to find a song that I can sing for my GCSE's. I have been told that I have the voice of a 'choir girl' so can sing a range of pretty much anything. It has to be a musical tho. Please help me because I have no idea what I want to sing, but I would like it if it is a song sung by a women.
Please help me.

I sung 'Mr Snow' from Carousel for my GCSE's and I got full marks. You could also think about singing something from west side sory for example 'Somewhere' as this might suit your voice quite well. Hope this helps xxx

good song is

Teardrop by massive attack,

search it opn youtube, i downloaded it from itunes and i think u could try it out????

Something from Wicked

You should try anything from Sweeney Todd.

It's all very musically challenging, but there aren't very many female parts.

So if not, music from Chicago is made for stretching the female voice.

Hope this helps

(:

what about 'the sound of music' or 'Grease' fav things from the sound of music or hopelessly devoted to you from grease. my favourite song is the one that Nancy sings in Oliver, i think it's called 'as long as he loves me'.
anyway good luck and i hope u pass.

A good one would be Over the Rainbow, that Judy Garland sung in the Wizard of Oz.

Or I will always love you. Witney houston. cept that isnt a musical:S

Circle of Life, in Lion King- Great song. Do the disney musical things count?

Tale as old as time! Super song!

If you do them well, you'll get amazing marks.
