Pianist.....................

Question:hi, im a pianist and im a teen and the thing is, ive finished all the levels in my program, where do i take it from now? i DEFINATLY want to continue the piano, but i want to DO something instead of just learning peices then learning new peices and forgetting the old ones.

Put together a group of performance pieces and take them out to play. Play anywhere you can get an audience. Adult day care and geriatric homes are always looking for someone to come in and provide a little diversion for thier residents. Play for schools, churches, synagogues, Temples, whoever will have you. Slowly build up a formidable repertoire and keep building on it until you establish a reputation. The greatest joy you can get as a musician, is to share that gift with those who can most appreciate it!

Keep playing the old pieces, and ask your teacher for new pieces to play, he or she should have some of know where to get some new pieces for you to play.
