New Guitar?

Question:I've been playing guitar for about 4 years now, and after playing on a $450 ibanez for 2 years im gonna upgrade. I had 2 guitars in mind, a faded gibson Sg and a fender mustang. Both are on the guitar center website. Price isn't a problem. I am gonna go to the store myself and look at them. Any one have any past experience with these?

I've been playing for around 10 years and have probably 10 guitars. Hands down my best guitar is my 5 year old Gibson SG. It depends more on what type of music you play than anything else. Both are great guitars but, in my opinion if you want the true full throttle guitar you've got to go with a les paul.

I played both of them but I like sg's the best.

the answer depends on what kind of music you play... if you add more than a tea-spoon of distortion go with the sg

They're both good (American made, Mexican, Japanese or Chinese).

Personally I like the Strat.
