Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Don't miss Wicked. Marvellous production chronicling the lives of Glinda (the Good Witch) and Elphaba (the Wicked Witch of the West) just prior to Dorothy's arrival in the Land of Oz.

Turns out they were college roommates, and maybe the good witch is not as good as we think, and the bad witch not as bad as we think, and where did the cowardly lion, the tin man, and the scarecrow come from anyway?
