What all do we get to learn from doing theatre?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: discipline. You learn how to follow instructions also. You learn some of the ins and outs of acting. And you learn the various jobs that go into putting on a show. Not everyone there is onstage. Props, backgrounds, costumes.
You also learn that being there when you are supposed to be is very important, not only to you, but to everyone involved in the show. It is immature to be late. And it is showing disrespect to the rest of the people involved in the project.
The least of it all ....you learn how to memorize lines and lines of the script. But that is the least of it all.
