Question:

I have to do a 10 page paper on the musical RENT, what should my thesis statement be?

RENT is my favorite thing in the world and I'm happy I get to do a paper on it, but I have no idea what I should PROVE. It has to have something to do with the play and either Jonathon Larson, or just the way the music is, or just something. It's for my History of Broadway class. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT MY THESIS SHOULD BE. helpp :(

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: My daughter loves this musical so much, she got to see it on stage when they toured here. What you want to do is look at it as if there is a moral to the stories or some kind of social message given in what happens tot he characters. Look deeper than the music and then use the music to enhanse your thoughts. Mention the characters and what they experienced to make the point of your paper.
