Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Think about having a series of projects in order to include all the students. You might give your students a list of possible projects, designed to include as many talents as possible. Some possible themes might be:
Tennessee Williams and his milieu, a biography.
The times and culture the play is set in.
(these could include written themes or presentations)
Acting particular scenes, or reading aloud
Characterisations: from the point of view of the reader, the audience, the characters themselves (for instance, Blanche describes the other characters
Paintings and drawings of set design
Compose a piece of music ( or just try for a musical motif) that would fit various places in the play. They could even use pop music if it worked.
Vocabulary, spelling, etc.
Or offer the amazing chance to just write a theme, based on what you've been trying to teach them all year.

If you are good at managing group work, this is a perfect place for it.

I've used a similar structure for Romeo and Juliet, and The Miracle Worker for students of about that age. If you get yourself really well organised, it works beautifully. If not, they have still had an interesting introduction to the play.
