For violinists out there...?

What do you call the act where you play more than one note at a time? I think it's double-stop, but my friend disagree. FYI, I'm not a professional musician. Thanks in advance.


Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The usual term is double stop. Some call it double stringing, I've heard it called harmonic playing (although that also can refer to playing an octave above the note by pplaying very lightly with the bow)
