Question:

I want to sing....?

I want to learn how to sing better, range my voice, get vibrato ect. I don't have the money for singing lessons or a coach, but I do go to school with a couple of good music teachers. I don't have much room to meet with anyone either. I'm not in choir/chorus. I think my voice is decent, at least decent for a cat in a bathtub after being hit by a car. lol Everyone I'm comfortable singing in front of says I'm pretty good. My friend ranks me as an 8 and my brother ranks me as a 7 on a scale of 1-10, 10 being best, 1 being worst. I want to become really good and I have high hopes of presuing a career as a pro singer. Please give me advice and maybe lsit a good school with singing classes! All advice and help will be greatly appreciated!

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I think it would be a good start if you could join the choir or chorus classes. You would get more experience singing and you might even learn to read music, which is a valuable skill to have.

See if you can get involved with a local community theatre that does musicals. You may meet someone there who has had some training and can give you pointers.

In the meantime, keep singing, after all "Without a song, the day would never end"
