Question:

Fingering for a clarinet!!!!?

What in the world is the REALLY high E supposed to sound like? When I play it,it sounds really squeakish. Its not a squeak,it just sounds like one.Any other ways to finger it?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The very most in tune fingering for that note is LH thumb and register key and fingers 2 and 3 RH pinky on the Eb key. Don't pinch the embouchure. You should not have to change anything from playing notes in the lower register to play notes in that range. If you pinch, it will be out of tune and not sound good.
