How do I get back into acting?

I'm not looking to become rich and famous, it is simply something I enjoyed very much in high school and was quite good at. I simply would like to get back involved in the theatre again. I am not attending school, I work, so my nights and weekends are always free. What's out there? Know of anything in the Sacramento valley area?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Try your local community centre, see if they have a theater or acting group. Also try local theaters and see if they're looking for actors. Small theaters are usually putting up shows.
