Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I would buy a second-hand sax if I could look at it and try it first. Since you are a starter, you should take along an experienced person to help you look at it. I would not buy a used one online though, make sure you can examine it properly and not pictures or descriptions. People describe things exceptionally well when they want them sold quickly and since you are a starter, they may very well pull the wool over your eyes.
