Question:

Journalism and paparazzi?

Where do we draw the line between ethics, and values, and entertainment. How does it affect celebrities, socially, and politically?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It's really pretty simple. Ethical behavior does not intentionally harm another person. That is, no doubt, too simple, but it's a starting place. If you're about to do something, and you know it could cause harm to another person, either physically or emotionally, then you shouldn't do it. If you suspect you're going to really piss someone off, and the only reason you're doing it is because you can, or because you'll get paid for it, then you should consider your motives. Sometimes you need to piss people off, but not usually.

It's the motivation that separates journalists and paparazzi, and some people don't seem to know which they're supposed to be.
