What guitar strings are good for metal, neo-classical, rock, and things in that area?

I have used GHS ZW's, DR Dimebag darrel, Dean Markely's Yngwie Malmsteen, and just alot of other strings. I was wondering what do you consider the best guage, brand and model of strings for metal, neo-classical, rock, and shred?
