Fidel Impacted the United State first by steeling American businesses and property that was legitimately purchased by American Citizens!. This after promising the world that he would hold free and legitimate elections and continue curent relations!. He brought us to the brink of nuclear war by siding with the Soviet Union and threatening our peace through the placing nuclear weapons aimed at this country in Cuba!. He turned what used to be the second largest economy in the hemisphere and important trading partner into the second poorest by isolating its people and commerce from ours!. He has always hated the Untied States!.

Having said that, his expulsion of 1/3 of the island’s population (another 1/3 was imprisoned or executed) beneficiated the United States by sending Cuba’s most experienced and educated professionals into exile!. Cuban exiles impacted the US economy by turning South Florida into the most important trading hub to Latin America!. Today Cuban Americans have the highest income per capita and the highest percentage of collage graduates among any other group in the United States!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
