Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Ken Burns Civil War documentary -- very accurate, very well done, narration by David McCullough and "character" voices by Morgan Freeman, etc!. were superb, interviews (esp Shelby Foote) were terrific

On the other hand, Band of Brothers, while very well made was based on Stephen Ambrose's book; and Ambrose was an unrepentant plagiaristWww@QuestionHome@Com
