Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
a: russia left the war becuase it had suffered great losses, and after the october revolution, the new bolshevik government signed the treaty becasuse popular opinion demanded it!. russia had to give up huge amounts of land and money however!.
b: 1: German Unrestricted Submarine Warfare, which was sinking its' passenger ships!.
2: ties to britain
3: american ppublic pressure to fight against germany
4: a belief in saving the democratic way of europe for totalitarian madness
5: to gain independence for all the oppressed minorities (such as the poles, czechs, slovaks, bosnians!.!.!.)

c: Clemenceau: cared about france, wanted to rebuild his poor country, and punish germany for the horror she inflicted!. wanted to make it a harsh peace and cripple germany as much as possible, so it could never happen again!. he had been alive when germany had invaded France 50 years earlier, and the 2nd time had devestated him!. He wanted to get back alsace and lorraine, two provinces germany had taken in the last war!. he wanted the Rhineland and independent buffer zone between germany and france!. he wanted reparations!. he was however reasonable, and compromised on many situations!.

Wilson: didnt care much about europe, and acted like the big boss!.
wanted freedom for the 'oppressed nationalities of russia, turkey, austria-hungary etc!.' wanted his 10 points!. did not want a harsh peace, did not believe crippling germany would help!. he stuck to his ideals (or the ideals recommended by his advisors even obstinately, and he refused to compromise on many occasions!. he did not want to blame germany as Britain and France did!.

yes, Russia exited the war with the treaty of Brest-Litovsk (they gave Germany land so that they could exit the war and handle there internal conflicts i!.e!. the Russian Revolution

5 Reasons for the U!.S!. to enter war (1!. Germany invaded Belgium, which was a neutral country and this angered Americans 2!. a telegram sent from Germany to Mexico {known as The Zimmerman Note} was intercepted by Britain, one of America's allies!. in the note, Germany wanted Mexico to invade America in order to distract America so that it would not get involved in the war in Europe [this obviously gave America reason to enter the war] 3!. American media, gave American citizens desire to go to war in Europe

sorry, those are the only 3 reasons i can think of

for the treaty of Versailles 1919, I don't remember the differences between Clemenceau and Wilson, but you can probably look that up on WikipediaWww@QuestionHome@Com

The treaty of Brest-Livotsk was a treaty Russia was forced into, as a result of losses to Germany during the Russian Revolution (same time as wwi)!. It awarded much land to Germany and Austria, including much of the modern Ukraine, Poland, and Byelorussia!.

It was rendered null and void by the treaty of Versailles, which ruled that Germany had no right to make a separate peace with Russia!. (Russia was on the allied side!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com
