If Pearl Harbor happened sixty-seven years ago today, and the US was pulled into World War II because of it, why is it that Hawaii became part of the country in 1955 and not earlier than that!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hawaii became a state in 1959 (it was our 50th state)

Hawaii was one of our possessions, and Pearl Harbor was a US Naval Base!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hawaii became a state in 1959, not 1955!.

It was annexed by the US in 1900!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
