That was Sacajawea!. She was the wife of the translator that came with them!. Though she didn't come until they were almost at the Rocky mountains!. This was because she originally came from an indian tribe that lewis and clark were going to cross paths with and ask to borrow their horses!. If she decided not to come and see her brother, the chief, to show her baby than lewis and clark would never have finished there expedition!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
