Music was generally for the wealthy and they taught their daughters to play various instruments and so there was music in the evenings in the parlors!.
There were others who had the ability to play and write music these were listened to in the music halls!.
Different levels of society had their own instruments and music was played on them by different levels of society but the classical music we think of for this time was as aboveWww@QuestionHome@Com
