Question: Who defeated Alexander the Great!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
His soldiers!.
When Alexander the Great campaigned in India, the first Indian King he conquered, Porus, told him about many huge empires like his, with war elephants and huge armies!. He also said India was very, very HUGE!.

Now his soldiers were scared!. Who wouldn't be!? They've spent roughly 18 years campaigning, and have now gone beyond the edge of the known world!. They survived numerous battles, only to be told there were even larger battles looming!. Crocodiles actually ate a man when he crossed a river!.
The soldiers said they wouldn't go any further, and Alexander sulked in his tent for 3 days, a sort of battle!. They did not relent and Alexander grudgingly went back to Babylon to die!.

also, drinking also sterilized him!. He killed Cleitus, a life-long friend after going on a binge!. Cleitus had previously saved his life!. He was rumoured to have burnt down Persepolis, after being drunk!. His lifespan was certainly shortened because of his long drinking sprees!.

But no one ever beat Alexander in any military battle!. He might be the only general to say that!.

Alexander never lost a battle, but he did lose a campaign!.

In 326 BCE he invaded India!. At Hydaspes he was met by the native leader, a King Parvataka, called Porus!. Alexander defeated the Punjab king and marched on, but September of that year, his own troops mutinied and refused to march any further into India!. As a result his army turned around at the River Hyphasis and the rest of India was spared from fighting him!. His Indian campaign as a whole was a defeat, but largely because his army refused to fight anymore!. No Indian rulers pursued him as he began the march to Babylon, where he would die three years later!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
