Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I would have prevented the fall of the second temple and the Roman invasion of Judea, and while I was at it I would have prevented Paul from becoming the defacto leader of the first century church!. I think that this would have gone a long way towards eliminating anti semitism, the false dichotomy between the body and the spirit and the anti-woman stance that dichotomy produced!. This might have preserved the ethical teachings of Jesus as the centre of Christian belief, rather than personal salvation, as Paul taught!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Preventing the publication of the Ems telegram causing the outbreak of the Franco-Prussian War which resulted in the creation of Germany and the rise of it's militaristic Kaiser Wilhelm II, all of which, at a basic level, ultimately pushed Europe into WWI!. Without that telegram it's possible that the 20th century would not have seen quite as much bloodshed as it did!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I couldn't decide between The Wall Street Crash of 1929, the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand or the handing over of the Sudetenland to the Germans in 1938!. Www@QuestionHome@Com That the cable informing Admiral Kimmel and General Short that the Japanese were planning to break off diplomatic relations reached them in time, even if it were only an hour before Pearl Harbor!.
