There were registers of births and deaths in Roman times, for the Romans were very good record keepers!. However, in the absence of microfilm, computers and other storage devices we have today, those records were destroyed after so many generations to make room for more current records!.

However, given the nature of people, I would say that intermarriage between the two groups was probably immediate, particularly between Roman men and Gaul women!. Even when there are laws against it, people are going to do what nature has it for them to do!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

How can anyone be precise as to an actual year!? Such facts just do not exist!. There were no such things as Registers of Births Deaths and Marriages in those days!. The best bet would be probably during the late 1st century BCE/early 1st century CE when the area became peaceful and retired soldiers began to settle in coloniae!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
