Fiscal policies!? Well there was the Cold War and the space race!. This meant thousands of jobs building weapons and lots scientific research!. The spin off from the research went into hundreds of products from color TVs and computers that could be housed in something smaller than a 5 foot x 8 foot case!.

There was also the Communist expansion in Vietnam to be dealt with, this took thousands of men out of work force and put them into uniform!. This created a false stimulus because employers had to pay more to attract workers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
