Your not asking much are you!? LOL!.!.

A: I won't be much help with!.

B: I'm not an expert in this area but at the time Islam swept the Middle East and for a couple centuries afterwards the Arab world were leaders in Science, architecture, math and arts!. From then on it was a slow decline as Arab civilization collapsed under a dark age that still grips the Middle East!. Arts and sciences were repressed, nations fell to bickering and Arab technology actually regressed!.

C: Not much help for you there!.

D: I'll pass on that!. It's a book in itself!.

E: Christianity and Islam had very similar beginnings!. Both used conversion by the sword once they'd taken over major nations and showed great intolerance toward other religions during their early expansion period!. Where they differ most is Christianity mellowed as it aged!. It's tolerance to other religions grew while Islam's tolerance withered to the point where non-believers are thought by Muslims to be sub-human!.

F: Islam and Christianity sprang from the same base religion!. Both share a common core as well as taking Arab society at the time of their foundation as the context to describe their beliefs!. Islam codes daily life in even greater detail than even Jewish beliefs while Christianity leaves more room for individualism!.

H: You need a time period to do that!. In Christian society in the 1300s women were treated about the same as they are in Islamic societies!. The core of this came from Roman society which viewed women as lesser beings than men!. Celtic society by contrast viewed women as equals in intellectual endeavors and even had women rulers from time to time!. In Japan women were until very recently still subject to similar restrictions as in Christian society!. Unlike any other society since Biblical days in the Middle East the killing of women for "sins" is unique to Muslim society!. Only in Islam are honor killings common and accepted throughout history!. This comes from the Biblical days when the stoning of a woman was acceptable punishment for improper behavior!.

G: What!? Neither of those religions are ethnic in any way!.

H:That's already been answered!.

I: Pre-Islam and early Islam were heavily influenced by the Classical Greeks!. Greek influence was heavy on Egypt and much of North Africa then reinforced by Romans who later conquered much of hte middle east bringing modified Greek ideas with them!.

The Greeks, Indians and Arabs had a great deal of contact and passed ideas back and forth increasing the knowledge of all three!. When Europe fell into the dark ages it was Islamic society which preserved much of what we know about Europe during that time period and the years before that!. However Science, art and lit all froze under Islamic rule then began to regress as Islam sank into it's own dark age that it has yet to emerge from!.

J:The Arab empire is a misnomer!. That lumps Persians and Arabs together a notion that would insult either!. The Arabs never really had an empire!. The Turks did and the Persians did!. The Arabs just spread across lands like North Africa using Moors once they took Egypt as the core foot soldiers!. Instead of a centralized leadership they had passing kings of varied levels of control, mostly nominal!. That quickly fell apart!. Persian and Turkish empires by contrast are very typical empires which strong centralized governments, a central society and an ethnic identity!. The Greeks under Alexander were pure expansion!. He built a nearly invincible army that conquered whatever he wanted!. The lands he conquered stood for centuries as Greek nations in many cases!. Northern Turkey, Egypt, Greek states for example!. Some of the land he conquered reformed, the seeds of a Persian empire were born with Alexander's conquests!. By breaking rivalries and bringing many Persians under one banner Alexander succeeded where many Persians had failed!. Later Arab and Roman conquests also followed the footsteps of Alexander!.
