Question: What is your personal opinion on Che Guevara !?
Many people "idolize him" (even wear his face on T-Shirts), many don't even know, he left one wife and child to marry another woman and have additional four children with that one but others don't know that some modern-day liberals, have joined conservatives in pointing out that Che was rather more dogmatic than most communists!. Guevara was "instinctively authoritarian, allergic to any democratic or libertarian impulses, quick to order executions, and quicker still to lead his own comrades to their deaths in doomed guerrilla wars!."
Honestly, personally, he ain't no hero to me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Che Guevara was a militant anarchist who literally went around the world instigating violent rebellions!. He's not admirable at all in my book!. Why do you think Fidel Castro became at the time so powerful !? Those people who idolize him, have obviously not read a shred of evidence of "how the Che really became el Comandante" !!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't idolize him, but I admire certain aspects of his life!.

Growing up in impoverished and exploited countries helped to form his views, and he actually had the nerve to act on his convictions!.

I don't approve of executions or political persecution, but he was fiercely intelligent and compassionate to the repressed and disadvantaged of the world!.

I think he's idolized because the US and Bolivians made him a martyr and they even posed him in that Christ like way!. He was even betrayed in a similar manner!.

Hmm, I guess I'm neutral!. Like everyone there's some good and some bad!.

Guevara, a medical doctor by training, was an idealist who got lost in his own ego and ideology!.

His driving force in life was to change the status quo, regardless of cost, and somehow that makes him a martyr to some!. I don't understand hero worship being wasted on this guy, He was knee deep in blood while he lived, and I don't see any evidence today of any good that was accomplished!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You're right!. Che was no "commie's commie"!. However, he was a critical component of Castro's insurgency and Batista's Cuba would likely not have fallen without his military guidance!. Historically, that makes him an important figure, and however you view his politics, he had an undeniable influence on world affairs from a pretty humble, yet pivotal position in time and space!.

Regardless, I always liked those shirts; a simple pattern of splotches so recognizable as a symbol of revolution!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

He was an evil bastard just like Chavez and Castro!. Daniel Ortega took Erich Honeckers widow!. Anybody who is stupid enough to say that Bush is more evil than Morales, Ortega, Castro or Chavez is what Vladimir Lenin called useful idiots!. Communism is pure evil!. Communism steals from other people!. Even those who only have little!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I find him an interesting historical figure!.!.!. no more, no less!.!.!. I never met him personally so I can't judge him!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ha!.!.!. you've described about 1!.7 billion men!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

a nasty little man who prefered the bullet to the ballet box!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

An evil commie bastardWww@QuestionHome@Com

I agree with you!.

Good luck to you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

He was a doctor!. He should have practiced more medicine!. I suspect that a lot of his revolutionary exploits in Cuba were more literary than real!. People forget what lie-producing machines all Communist governments were!. I think that many of the famous battles with heavy casualties reported and accepted at face value by many people in the West were actually quite small affairs!. It wasn't only the US Army that lied about body counts in the 1960s!. I think that he might have started believing his own propaganda when he decided to become a Bolivarian-revolutionary and live the dream!. I think that Castro was, in his heart, quite glad that Che' took himself out of the picture in Cuba by headin' off to glory like he did!. I wonder if Che' had the brains to figure that out!.

I think that Batista might not have been the strongest strong man of all time!. Overthrowing him might not have taken that much!. He might have just wanted to retire with his loot!.

I haven't done much internet searching for this answer!. I just am writing off the cuff my view of Mr!.Good Photo!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have read and heard a lot of different stories on this man!. The most legitimate one that I feel is true is that Che went to the top of the CIA's most wanted list because of the organization of the Military Cuban Revolution!. He wanted to spread communism throughout Central America and the CIA wanted him stopped!. In 1967, Che and his band of Guerrilla fighters were in the Jungles of Bolivia!. His reputation became so great, the CIA became terrified of him that they decided it was time to get rid of him!. In those days, executive action was "allowed" and they eventually caught up with him in Bolivia!.
At that time the CIA's main man in the hunt for Che Guevara, ordered his assasination!. Guevara was finally picked up by a Bolivian Ranger,
then taken to a small school-house where his assasination took place by a local Bolivian!. He was murdered on October the 9th,1967!.
Today in the 21st Century, his image has been picked up again as a symbol of resistance, anti-imperialism and if anyone sought to kill that idea, they failed!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.that's why you will always see his image everywhere!.
