Question: Does anyone know what happened to voting rights from 1879 till 1975 in america!?

they expanded dramatically
women were given the vote after WWI
everyone over 18 after the vietnam war
also, although black people were given the vote after the civil war they were often prevented from actually casting ballots by jim crow, violence, etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Women got the right to vote with the 19th amendment in 1920
The voting age was lowered to 18 with the 26 amendment in 1971Www@QuestionHome@Com
