Question:

Ok I was looking through my history book last night and I actually got interested in some of these subjects and now i would like to learn more about them!. The questions I have are about religion, culture, and ancient Muslim achievements!. Here they are!. (It would be nice if you answered them in basically paragraphs so I can really understand them)

1!. Why might one religion succeed and spread through out the world, while other religions disappear!?

2!. How does culture spread!?

3!. What Muslim achievements continue to influence people today!?

So thoughs are the questions!. The thing I also find funny about this is that I'm really not a fan of history at all, but something about these subjects really got me hooked!. Well thanks for your help!. =DWww@QuestionHome@Com

1) Religions spread because either the people like it and want to embrace it or because they are forced to!. Religions don't spread if the tenets are ridiculous or if people are forced to change religions (like American slaves)

2) Cultures are spread usually by traders or immigrants!. Islam in particular was spread by Muslim traders who taught people about thri religion on their busness trips!. also, Muslims went and settled in non-Muslims lands after conquering them and were able to teach NonMuslims about their faith!.

3) Mathematics, Science, astronomy, Architecture and much more was researched by muslims and much of it laid the foundation for future work which was done in Europe after the decline of the Muslims empire!.
