Not sure what your question is!.
The entire North Africa was conquered by muslims within the 7th century, so they definately had "contact" with Islam!.
also, Spain was conquered by Muslims 92 years after Hijra, and portions of France were under their rule for some time as well!. From the East they conquered turkey, Albania and other areas early on, and later the ottomans expanded!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
