Question: Why do people compare the gay rights movement/ homosexuality to black history!?
They are two different classes!. I find it offensive to the African American race because our struggle is about fighting for our rights as black people (our appearance) not our sexual preference!. Our history extends beyond the 1800's (slavery, captivity)!.

You may as well compare homosexuality to the Jewish Holocaust!.

Why!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, I agree with you on that!!! I think for the most part people just classifying them both as a minority, when it is actually not so anymore! Not to mean that they both coincide with each other or they run hand in hand!. There are gays in all nationalities! That does not mean all are gay!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it is almost the same!. black people were fighting for their right to be equals!. arent gay people going the same thing!? they just want to be equal, get married, and be the seen the same in society as straight people

they are very different but also the same in some aspects

and gay people dont have a choice!. they dont choice to suddenly be gay one dayWww@QuestionHome@Com
