he made a 25 point policy which had some very outrageous and some very important points in it!.

and however atrocious many of his actions were, people forget that he actually did a lot of good for Germany!. the people needed a dictatorial leadership at the time and he gave them that!. the eccentric actions to follow were too far!.

The main motto of the Nazi party was 'Arbeit, Freiheit und Brot'
which translates to : work, freedom and bread!. which he provided

admittedly the work was provided in the form of concentration camps and army and the freedom was provided by brutal invasion!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think you need to read some history!. Hitlers rise to power does not equate to any normal political process, nor do his political aspirations owe anything to genuine electoral pledges!.

You expose your ignorance!. the Nazi party were NEVER elected!. They came to power on the basis of a transfer of power to the chancellorship, that Hitler assumed in the political vacuum left by Papin's failure to take control following a 'hung' election!.

I STILL think you need to read some history!.

as for the thumb!.!.!. if it fits!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The set of events that led to Hitler taking power were complex, suffice to say that many millions of Germans didn't vote for the Nazis!. One of Hitlers advantages was that he was able to present himself as all things to all people - from the military and the industrialists he represented a force to deal with communism and the unions, to the peasants he was the man who would look after there interests -- even make them the focus of the Reichs future, to many middle class Germans he represented stability and order after the uncertainty and chaos of te Weimar years!.The conservatives thought they could control him and use him to promote their own agendas, but once in power Hitler was smarter and more ruthless than they had imagined and he very quickly concentrated power in his own and the parties hands!.

The Nazis 25 points were only a convenient device - many of the points were forgotten or discarded once they came to power!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Out of 45 million voters, 39 million voted for Hitler!. Did they know what they were voting for!? It's unlikely he could have achieved what he did without huge national support!. The nation may not have known all the fine detail, but they threw their lot in with Hitler on the basis that they would become a great and pure nation, the rulers of the Earth, the master race!. I doubt the detail of achieving that ideal was ever going to be thought about so much as to trouble anyone's conscience!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

This is easy, Hitler wrote it himself while in prison, it's called 'Mein Kampf' (My struggle) all his policies were there for all to see, years before he was VOTED into power on the back of these policies!.

Mark J!. your right he didn't mention annihilation, but he did promise to solve the 'Jewish problem', and his anti semitism stance proved very popular at the time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Its easy for society to vote for extreme political parties!.

There comes a point where people get sick of their lifes!.

Its the same reason why people vote BNP and UKIP!.!.!. despite their policies!.

Hitler was a very clever politician, and the german people thought he would bring forth a new era!.

just remember they didnt issue policies for jewish annihilation, those are events that occured post election!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

have you read any history books,,
i dont know of any current Nazi party in germany or anywhere else,,but i concede there may one somewhere,
germany in the 1930,s was in a similar position to the world economy at the moment, hitler inserted himself into politics by foul means on a starving population all out of work and he gave them jobs and wages,as a result they thought he was the countries saviour, and he really was,
he defied armament treaties in place since ww1,hitler was a quite brilliant man in getting his countrymen back to work, albeit building tanks, the autobahns and the peoples car(Volkswagen)are his legacy to germany!.
unfortunately for germany he went crackers in all other directions and by the end of war he was completely insaneWww@QuestionHome@Com
