Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Herculaneum was a town that was devastated by Vesuvius!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Oh man! It's hard to imagine how many places that ash from that volcano covered up - all sorts of farms and villas which will never be found!. The other important town which has been excavated is Herculaneum - and just outside of town they've even found a library!. Up to now they haven't been able to read any of the books though!. There's a thousand years of archeology in the area of destruction from that volcano!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
