It's often taught in a boring way, but when understood properly it's the story of how the world we live in came to be, and how every aspect of the world around us that we take for granted came to be!. It's the story of humanity struggling to come to terms with the world, and then tame it and control it; and it's also the story of how mankind learned to live together, how the structure of society evolved, how out ancestors understood death and spirituality, their place in the wider universe!.!.!. sorry to disagree with you, but I find all that stuff fascinating!. If your teacher isn't getting that sense of wonder and importance across to you then you have my sympathies!. If that is the case then you may find a better way into the subject through novels set in ancient times!. I'm far too old and senile to remember titles or authors, sadly, but I remember that when I was growing up historical fiction was second only to fantasy in it's ability to transport and fascinate me, so there's good stuff out there!. Find a sympathetic Librarian and ask them to recommend some good stories with gripping characters that happen to be set in ancient times!.Www@QuestionHome@Com You know what is boring!? Astronomy!. I'm a physicist and i'm expected to be amazed by the little lights in the sky but i just cant take it!. The whole thing appears frivolous to me!. I love history, and science, and stuff but being able to identify which dot is cassiopea or Jupiter, blerg!. It bores me and after 5 minutes i just turn on the TV to watch the history channel!. I used to love Western Civilization, but my class was the worst class ever!.
