taxes were a big insult!. the colonies had to pay taxes that were more expensive than they were in england!. There were also unnecessary taxes to pay off other expenses made by england, so yeah, they tar and feathered tax collecters and this is what sparred the boston ta party!.

becuase after all the colonist did to the brits and after they just fought and war and all and they didnt have much money, they were being forced to pay to the brits for the help in the war!. and the fact that they were being taxed without representation, that parliament was all in britian and non in the coloies, they were mad, and angry and hurt!. so they rebelled!. but more acts and taxes cam any ways!. and finally the colonist were sick of it and they fought the brits and won and severed ties completly bu making the declaration of independence and ceating the united states of america (and all else in between)Www@QuestionHome@Com
