job involving ancient cultures?

Question: What is a good major/job involving ancient cultures!?

I'm really interested in ancient cultures, like studying Egyptians and the Mayans and old cultures like that!. What would be some ideal jobs involving that and possibly some archeology!? Not really teaching though!. Hope I've been clear!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Art history maybe!?

A lot of old cultures are really mostly researched and told about through their art!. You could concentrate in a specific area of the world or specific race or culture if you find there's one that you like better than the others!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you were to get your degree and do some field work with a major university, you could get noticed and host a show on The Discovery Channel, The History Channel or National Geographic - that would really be a cool job!!
