Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
There weren't any true geographical boundaries, but the Old West was mostly cattle country - open range country with lots of space!. The outlaws weren't confined to any particularl place, but plied their trade wherever they thought they could make a killing - either literally, or in cattle rustling!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
