Question: Why did Britain attack through the Great Lakes in the War of 1812!?

It was an easy route into the United States!. The land routes were heavily forested and the trails fairly easy to defend because they were rather narrow (for an invading army )!. With Lake invasions, they could also "jump" from place to place and pick which places that were easiest to land!.

As for the answer about the U!.S!. invading Canada, If YOUR LEASH HOLDERS and MASTERS, the English hadn't kidnapped our citizens on the high seas, the war wouldn't have happened at all!.

EDIT: OOPS one thumbs down!. Must be a Canadian read the truth!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The americans invaded Canada!. We beat them back across the lakes, went down and burned Washington!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
