I wasn't living then but I have a little story to tell you!. The family has told this many times and still laughs about it!. My grandpa got the electric bill and was screaming and yelling about it being so high!. The amount was 50 cents ! He went through the house busting all the bulbs but two!. As I said, I wasn't there , but knowing my grandpa!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. LOLWww@QuestionHome@Com

My grandma told me that my great grandfather hid his money and they had to move several times during the Depression!. Years later, she saved EVERYTHING!. That must've been a result of saving everything you had during those yearsWww@QuestionHome@Com

My grandmother, who lives with me, was about 7 at the time the depression began!. She's not computer literate but I can relay questions if it would help!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
