There are many reasons for this!.As others have pointed out England had colonies over about three quarters of the World in Queen Victoria's time!. They used to say that 'the sun never set on the British Empire'!.
also England had slavery long before America!. It was known as 'blackbirding' and many wealthy British estates grew out of the profits of slave-traders!.
In the 1960s, when the dictator Idi Amin threw all the Asians out of Kenya, Britain had to welcome them as they were British subjects and many settled here, working hard and setting up in business!.
also, in the 1950s the British Government set up an initiative to attract West Indians to come and settle in Great Britain!. They were given a passage for £10!.00 (about $20 ) on ships like "The Windrush", as manpower had been severely depleted by WWII!.
Incidentally, the Anglo-Saxons were, in fact, Germans!
The only original British were the Celts who largely settled in Scotland, Ireland, Wales and the South West of England!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Similar reason why there are dark skinned people in the United States and light skinned people in South Africa!. In the first instance, the slave trade wasn't simply an American Institution!. It was a holdover from England!. Colonization was indeed widespread, which would be why the Brits ended up in India and South Africa!. Very similar as to why in Africa people can trace their lineage to different countries--different African tribes kidnapped members of other tribes as slaves (black Africans held other black Africans as slaves--say it isn't so!!!!)!. This can be found all over the world, dating way far back in history!. A pure race is just the imagination!Www@QuestionHome@Com

by dark skinned people u mean black right!?
and by lighted skinned people you mean white people!?

its ok
saying : " black or white" doesn't mean you're racist :)

years ago when the 1st types of major transport was made, such as the ship english people used it to discover more of the world!.

They then came across africa and found black people there, so then the English people wanted to take the black people there as slaves so to import them back to england they started makin slave ships!.

They then used black people as slaves and sold them in England!. Black people were abused, tortured and robbed of their pride, dignity, and soul!. Some where killed if they didnt obey their masters!.

also in African they found, gold, silver, oil, coal ect!.!.!.

But about 40 years ago black people redimmed them selves and fought for their justice and their rights!. They got their indipendance and Black History Month is to help everyone remember a critical, civere time in history!.

Hope that answers your question!.

That's what happens when an arrogant little island conquers 80% of the globe!. It's called "the empire strikes back!."

Don't worry; patriotic English fascists have continued to marginalize the "darkies" and "coolies" in England just as much as they did abroad!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
