Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Something of merit here!. I was on holiday with a friend in Gran Canaria in the mid-Atlantic, it was a very strange thing to be on a holiday island at that time!. During the evening all the bars closed and we were in a place called the Yumbo Centre, a large open square area containing many bars and a number of clubs!. It was arranged that a period of silence would take place at Midnight!. Everyone, as this moment struck seemed to move in unison toward a central grassed area, I would suggest feeling the need to be close to others!. The feeling I still cannot escape from is the one that the world changed forever that day, and not for the best!. The return home on the plane was also very strange, muted, almost silent Www@QuestionHome@Com I was too young to know what was happening!. I was watching my teacher turn on the news and she said she was just keeping an eye on things!.!.!.then i got home from school and my mom was watching it too!.!.!.i remember looking at the TV and seeing a grown man running for his life! i was confused because i had never really seen a grown man run like that! I can remember seeing the Twin Towers (i didn't know thats what they were though) falling down and smoke was everywhere!.
