spear / short sword / bronze helmet / bronze shield / leather skins
military firsts tactically - hoplites / phalanx
a two king governing body, with nobles also in a sort of semi parliment
they perfected military training in there day by training men at the age of 7 on up away from home
they used the greek trireme, a three decked vessel capable of ramming and delivering a decent compliment of soldiers in shallow waters
I also believe they used greek fire at one point, which is now lost to history (it was a sort of ancient napalm to light another vessel on fire)Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Greeks never used "Greek fire"!. That was a Byzantine invention, coming into use centuries later (actually a good 1,000+ years later)!. Metallurgical tests have revealed that the Spartans were among the first to produce carbonized steel, which is much harder and more durable than the typical iron used at that time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
