The artist you might like to study is the man who created the head/bust of Nefertiti

At the link below you'll find lots of images of Queen Nefertiti - she was the most beautiful woman - like a top model of today!.

I'm unable to find who the creator/artist of this fabulous work was!. All I know is that it was found in an abandoned city somewhere in Egypt by a team of Germans sometime in the 1920s - I think!.

Many of the 'artists' are unknown working class Egyptians who toiled away at their various crafts with no recognition for the work they had done!.

An interesting, though difficult question!.
"Famous" Ancient Egyptian artists!? That's like asking for famous carpenters or plasterers from building sites today -they rarely get a passing mention in texts and only very exceptionally appear in their own artworks!.

One artist, working on the tomb of the 5th Dynasty vizier Ptahhotep, was permitted to include himself in the reliefs (he is shown on a boating trip being served with drinks), with his name written alongside - but this does not make him famous, just lucky!.

Self-portraits of artists are seen at the edges of some New Kingdom tomb paintings, while the creator of the famous "Battle of Kadesh" scene placed his name on it, as did one of the sculptors on the temple of Ramesses II at Abu Simbel!. Again, this does not make them famous!.

Artists were graded from the lowest apprentice up to the leading masters!. Some of the most important were granted titles such as "Chief painter of the temple of Amun" or "Painter of the palace library of sacred books"!.

In most cases, even after many years of intensive scientific study, we have absolutely no idea who was the artist behind the work; we can never know who sculpted and painted the beautiful bust of Nefertiti, or who masterminded Tutankhamun's tomb, or that of Queen Nefertari (favourite queen of Ramesses II)!.

We can only admire their work and mourn our lack of knowledge - the Egyptians believed that a person lived for ever, so long as their name is known!. For these artists without names, eternity is lost!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't know that the artwork of the Ancient Egyptians was attributed to any particular artists!. All I can recall of that time period is sculpture, clay pots, and of course the paintings and drawings inside of the tombs and pyramids and hieroglyphics!. I'm not sure you're going to find any artist's names, sorry!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You won't find any artists names, more references to particular intricate pieces such as inside Pharaoh's tombs!.!.!. created in order to recognize that Pharaoh, not the artist!. Same goes for paintings and pottery etc!.!. it was a depiction to represent and express their everyday life not for the artists recognition!.
