Question: Where can I find more information about Ethelyn's Mistake that was written around 1906!?

There's a signature in it, I don't know if the name has any value, Robb Orland/Arland Cunningham June 29, 1906, there's also a initials m!.a!.c or m!.s!.c!. , the book is in poor condition but has all its pages, but there's no copyright date or any date at that!. However, it is by Mrs!. Mary J!. Holmes!. (The Mershon Company, Rahway N!. J!. New York!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I did a search on the Library of Congress' catalogues!. The Library of Congress is the USA's copyright library and therefore (in theory) has a copy of every published work!.

I looked it up and 'Ethelyn's Mistake' was published in 1897 and as you rightly said it was written by Mrs Mary J Holmes!. It is listed as 'Ethelyn's Mistake: or, The home in the West, a novel' so I'm presuming its a novel about frontier life in the 19th century!?

I suspect that Robb Orland and Arland Cunningham were the owners of the book!. Perhaps they won it as a prize on 29th June 1906 and the letters m a c or m s c refer to that prize!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
