B!. But whites were inspired into heavily armed militias to counter any slave revolts!. After Nat Turner they didn't want any women or children hacked to death in their own homes!. This local organization and preparation actually helped greatly in the war!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Blacks heavily outnumbered whites, so numbers weren't a factor at all!. When it comes down to it, it was mainly because the slaves weren't allowed to have weapons, and the owners hired slave drivers who were well armed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Most slaves were kept illiterate and isolated from other plantations!. Plus most slave revolts were betrayed by other slavesWww@QuestionHome@Com
